Les Jonnerys GFA

Winegrower:
Julien Venturini
Area:
Quincie-en-Beaujolais, France
Areal:
3,6 hectares

Their organic vineyards, covering 3,6 hectares, lie 400 metres above sea level, where the vines, on average 40 years old – with some up to 80 years old – thrive in the high-altitude climate. Without the use of chemicals and with lots of manual work, the wines are produced naturally via maceration carbonique, where spontaneous fermentation is allowed to develop in concrete vats. This method preserves the wine’s pure, authentic expression. The result is fruity, mouth-watering wines that are easy to enjoy and at the same time contain a depth and complexity that reflects their unique terroir.
