The vineyard was handed over to Marc and his brother by their father in 2009. Since then, they have continued the family tradition and cultivate wine according to methods that their grandfather would have recognized. With a deep respect for nature, they work according to environmentally sustainable principles, harvesting the grapes by hand and intervening minimally in the winemaking process.
This approach allows them to create wines that honestly express the unique character of the Bechtheim vineyards. Each wine tells its own story – about the place, the soil and the people behind it – and carries a unique sense of origin that only arises when the rhythm of nature is allowed to dictate.
