In 2003-2004, the family left the big city to discover the countryside of Provence and start what is now known as Domaine Les Terres Promises – the promised land. Without experience, but with an immediate love for this corner of the region, clinging to Sainte Baume. The vineyards extend over La Roquebrussanne and Garéoult, between 320 and 420 meters above sea level, where the red, iron-rich soil with limestone gives the wine its depth and personality. Their mission is to support the vines so that the wine can express the terrain and its unique character. The grapes are handled manually during the harvest, vinification is done with native yeasts, without acidification and with very little stabilization in SO2.
